Learning to Sit

We are learning to sit up all by ourselves! It is very hard work, but we're getting better every day!

Grape... yummy!

Mommy had to take me to the doctor today because every time she tries to feed me, I hit my bottle and give her my mad face (and scream, of course!). Doctor McNulty said my reflux is back (and she said that my sister is a piggy... haha!), so I have to take yucky medicine again. Daddy went to a different pharmacy so I could get a yummy flavor instead of icky mint. I got grape, and it wasn't TOO bad!

On the Move

Watch out, world! Ryker is on the move...

It began with rolling from one end of the room to the other... and now he is scooting himself all over the place. I think we have an early crawler on our hands! Luckily, last week we babyproofed... most of the house. This is extra motivation to finish!

Oops!

I was playing on my tummy and got sick... then I face-planted. My entire face was covered in white... even my eyelashes! Mommy couldn't stop laughing and didn't clean me up until she snapped all the pictures she wanted!

Go Vikes!

Here we are in our Minnesota Vikings gear! Mommy and Daddy said we have to wear it every Sunday that the Vikings play for good luck!

5 Months and Counting...

We turned 5 months old on the 3rd! We are keeping Mommy and Daddy on their toes by doing new things everyday! Our favorite thing to do is get them out of bed at night. We used to sleep ALL night long, but this past week we've had fun rolling around in our cribs and screaming when we can't get off our tummies. Mommy gets frustrated with us at 3:00 a.m., but we're so cute she forgets about it by breakfast! She tells us every morning that coffee gets her through the day... she better start making it a little stronger!

We are starting to have favorites--you name it, we each have a favorite! We really LOVE it when we go on the story time mat. We have a special area for reading and Mommy reads us Dora, Sesame Street, and Dr. Seuss... it is SO fun!

Daddy says that in a few weeks we get to start eating yummy things. We sure hope it tastes like Mommy and Daddy's food because we love to watch them eat. Their food smells and looks so good! He keeps saying things like "nanners", "sweet potatoes", and "green beans". We can't wait!

College Game Day Kick-Off

Today marked the start of College Football season! We have quite the rivalry in our house-- see pictures below. R spit up all over M's head and even rubbed it in her face-- Adam and I laughed hysterically! Looks like the twins have already become loyal fans of their teams!

We were tired out by the end of the day-- 2 football games is a lot! We made up our own "time outs" by taking naps, but we still enjoyed watching the games! OSU won against Georgia and they are looking GREAT for this season... GO POKES! OU is having some trouble... Daddy isn't too happy with them, but hopefully for our own sanity, they will do alright. :) Can't wait for next Saturday!

Such a Big Boy!

Mommy says I'm a "big boy" now! I guess she says that because I like to be on my tummy ALL the time and play... just like this! I also LOVE to roll everywhere! I especially like to roll in my crib!

Zzzzzzzz...

M has been a "sleepy head" this week. ALWAYS falling asleep in the swing... just like this! When we have the toy tray on, she lays her head right on it. Comfortable? I wouldn't think so... but apparently she thinks differently!
