Makaylin has blown us away this week with learning her countries! A long time ago, Adam bought the kids place mats and one of them has a map of the world on it. He got it out earlier this week and she can already identify almost 10 countries--we still laugh every time she shows us a country and says it's name. She is such a sponge!

What's Cookin'
Yesterday I spent the entire afternoon cooking/baking! I started out with these s'mores cookies from one of my favorite blogs, Baked Perfection! Check out her blog if you get a chance... although, I must warn you--she bakes the most delicious treats! :)
After I tackled the cookies, I started dinner. I try my hardest to make all of our dinners gluten-free so Ryker can eat whatever we are eating. Pasta has been so hard to replace, but after trying many different brands I have found one that we all enjoy. It tastes like white pasta, which I'm not used to at all, but it works for now. The end result for dinner was this 3-cheese spinach ziti from Skinny Taste. Everyone liked it except Ryker... go figure. :)
Little Helper
Makaylin just LOVES to help feed the dogs. She thinks they need to eat constantly, and is always going back and forth from the dog food bag to the dogs bowls. It's really funny to watch! Once the bowl is full of food, she isn't done. She just pretends to be putting food in. Hilarious!
