Beach Sunset & Pizza!

Yesterday we got out of the house to watch the sunset on the beach. The kids were happy to get out-- they have been sick all week and we've kept them cooped up inside. It was a little chilly, but they had a good time!

Once I maxed out my memory card (this always happens!) we headed out to the pizza place. The kids love going out for pizza--we do it once a month. Ryker had an entire slice to himself and then some of mine on top of that!

All in all, a great Saturday!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Ryker and Makaylin were able to enjoy a Valentine's Day sugar cookie Saturday night after we ventured to the park and grocery store! It was a fun-filled afternoon!

Sick Day

Makaylin came down with a nasty cold (and has given it to her mommy, too), so yesterday was a "sick day" at our house.

Dad!

Makaylin's first word.... DAD! We weren't sure if she was just jabbering or if she really knew that Adam was "Dad"... but after a few days, we have figured out that she really does refer to Adam as "Dad".



It's pretty cute... now if we could just get her to say Mom! :)


I'm not sure if I posted Ryker's first word... but a few weeks ago he started saying "Ella" (our dog). He pronounces it "eyyyylla!". Super cute!
