KK & Her Slippers

Last week was a little chilly and one afternoon I got KK up from her nap, and she had her Abby slippers on. She got these for Christmas, but has never worn them- until now. She kept them on for a few days, and I had to coax her out of wearing them to the clinic. Ha ha! 

Ryker's Favorite Room

Ryker's new favorite place to be: our bed. He loves to snuggle up with our pillows and play the iPad! I think he really loves it when I open our windows because he can also see all the cars zoom by! 

Fill 'er Up!

Adam and I took KK school supply shopping last week. She had a lot of fun and filled up her backpack as soon as we got home!

Ryker's Nook

Over the last few days Ryker has piled pillows, blankets, and even laundry in this little nook between our recliner and indoor play set. He loves to just chill out there and rest, play peek-a-boo, read books, or snack!

Look what came in the mail for Makaylin last week...

I can't believe she starts preschool next month. I am, however, very excited to have 2 hours to myself on Tuesday's, Wednesday's, and Thursday's. Maybe I'll workout... or nap. ;)

Happy Birthday to Meeeee!

Last Saturday was my 29th birthday and I had a great day!

It started off with Starbucks (yes, I'm not supposed to have caffeine. It was my birthday- whatchagonnado? Plus, It had been 12 days. I think that calls for a celebration!) and shopping in Mankato with Kimberly and Hailey!

Later in the day mom, dad, Kelsie, and Curt joined us for some grillin' and cake eating. Adam is such a clever guy- check out the birthday cake he got me! I was obsessed with Elmo in Jr. High and High School... hence the cake. 

The kids loved eating the cake- even Ryker! 

It was a great way to kick off the last year in my twenties! I think next year I'll skip my birthday.
