Box of Fun

This box has been around for over a year. Last Thanksgiving my cousins wrote all over it- hence the "destroy this" on the side of the box. :) They cut holes and windows in it and it's still around and safe to play in!

New Interest

Ryker has taken an interest in packages. He loves to look at everything on his cereal box- along with any other snack box he may pull from the pantry!

Puzzle Time!

Ryker has really been interested in puzzles lately. He has loved doing this farm animal puzzle and can do it all on his own!

First Snowfall

Despite this little girl waking up with a full body rash (allergic reaction to antibiotics) and then heading to the doctor only to find out she has pneumonia, we headed outside for a little playtime in the snow. I'm sure that's the last thing you should do when you're kiddo has pneumonia, but she wanted to go out so bad... and she's been sick for 2 weeks already. It was super short and she smiled a lot...

Except when she said she wanted to "play in the sun!".

Skittles

... because every kid wants a pack of skittles to make patterns. She had no interest in eating candy- just sorting and making patterns!

Trick or Treat

I'm a bit late on the Halloween blog posting train, but better late than never. To sum it up- Ryker lasted about 2.5 seconds and Makaylin was ALL about "more candy!".

It's a bird! It's a plane! It's RAIN!

We had some rain on Wednesday- the first significant rainfall since July, according to the weather guy. I told KK it was raining and she said, "I LOVE rain! I want to go play outside!". Ryker was at school and Adam was home so we put on her pink snow boots, and a rain resistant jacket. She decided she needed to play in the sand box, too. She also took her jacket off at one point- crazy kid! We were out there for 10 or 15 minutes before we decided it was time to head inside for some hot chocolate. :)

P.S. I apologize for the lack of blog posts. Fall portrait madness is happening with my photog business and Adam has been working 6, if not 7 days per week (10-12 hour shifts!). Hopefully things will slow down soon and I can spend more time updating!
